How we can use and live with artificial intelligence as an agency
I was once told: you don't talk to competitors - especially not about fears, doubts and opportunities!
What an old-school way of thinking!
We once again had a super inspirational and open exchange at the epda (european brand & packaging design association) Conference in Valencia among us as brand & design agencies. This time, we started with an interactive session about AI.
Surely, what other hot topics do we have as agencies?
I had the pleasure to talk about my perspective and how we look at the new AI tools and approaches for our agency. Then 4 other presenters enriched the open discussion in the room with around 70 designers and agency heads.
Here are my key take-aways from Valencia:
👉 Adaptation work will be most likely taken over by AI systems - but when and how?
👉 Strategy and brand positioning will remain (hopefully) rooted in our human thinking and evaluation.
👉 Image creation demands a tailored approach; brand owners should embrace brand-specific AI tools.
👉 Innovation lies beyond the democratic pattern recognition capabilities of AI.
👉 We must refine our agency's value proposition — what is our hidden pearl?
👉 Our commitment to highest quality will be our distinguishing mark.
