Complex benefits – simply explained
Following the hype in the US, drinks promoting gut health are now also reaching the German market. With DAILY GUT, BRAINEFFECT is launching a probiotic lemonade that makes gut health part of everyday life while also bridging the gap to traditional dietary supplements.
Our task was to develop a packaging design that makes the complex benefits – from microbiome support to fibre – understandable at first glance.
Instead of a lifestyle look, we deliberately opted for a functional design that emphasises effectiveness and benefits. The packaging design clearly positions DAILY GUT on the dietary supplement shelf, while visually asserting itself as a soft drink.

The function is directly translated into the packaging design
With a focus on a clear main message that explains the most important benefit in an understandable way (‘Gut & Wellbeing’), we translated the function directly into the design. To reinforce credibility, we developed a seal for the Reason to Believe (the bacterial cultures). Three concise icons that summarise further benefits in an easily understandable way round off the functional design.
The result is packaging that doesn't have to shout, but makes the effect visible. DAILY GUT thus becomes a low-threshold introduction to the topic of intestinal health – and at the same time highlights BRAINEFFECT's innovative strength in a new market segment for probiotic drinks and dietary supplements.
